Individually themed classes are designed for students to attend on a class by class basis. Families have the option to register for a “series” or choose specific dates.
These classes engage the MASTERWORKS ideal of teaching children Fine Art skills, although occasionally, a workshop class is more crafty. There is some overlap between the themed workshop classes and the year ‘round program, as well as themes explored more completely in the Summer Camp program. Workshop classes encourage the children to explore a variety of mediums such as pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint, tempera paint, chalk pastels, clay, cut paper, and collage. Through wonderful subject matter, students learn the fundamentals of still life’s, landscapes and portraits.
